If your passions include experiencing orca whales in the wild, Telegraph Cove is the place for you.

Our clean, clear waters nourish various species of whales including orca, minke, humpback, and gray.

Marine mammals also frequent our area, including Pacific whitesided dolphins, seals, stellar sea lions, and dolls porpoises. We have seen (and will never forget) witnessing 500+ Pacific whitesided dolphins voraciously feeding 300 meters from Telegraph Cove, as well as transient orca hunting marine mammals.

Whale watching helped establish Telegraph Cove’s reputation as a world-wide must visit destination. Since 1980, our friends and neighbors Stubbs Island Charters have maintained their first class reputation for exquisite and safe whale watching. Trips depart daily from Telegraph Cove from May to October.

The Whale Interpretive Center is a must-see during your Telegraph Cove visit. Located at the end of the historic Telegraph Cove Boardwalk.
